Warm care, rooted in community
A Little About Me
I’ve always loved people and babies, and being invited to support a family as they welcome a little one means so much to me! I started Mama’s Doula Co. to offer warm, personal support—the kind that makes you feel comfortable, listened to, and never rushed.
While welcoming your baby is a big part of what we’re preparing for, my focus is on you, mama. Your comfort, your wishes, and your experience matter. I’m here to offer encouragement, help you understand your options, and support you in asking questions and speaking up for what you need.
My approach is trauma-informed, with respect for your boundaries and choices. That means asking before offering hands-on support, listening without judgment, and letting you decide what you feel comfortable sharing. Getting to know you helps me offer support that feels right for you.
Becoming a doula is the beginning of a career I hope to spend caring for mothers and families. I plan to continue my education to become a certified nurse-midwife, with the goal of opening a freestanding birth center in our rural hometown. Our community means a great deal to me, and I’m excited to begin that work with the families I serve today!
Welcoming birth doula clients for January 2027 and beyond. Serving families in Walker, Winston, and Cullman counties.
How we care for you
Our Services
Birth Doula Support
A familiar face and steady support as you welcome your baby.
We’ll spend time before your birth talking about your preferences, practicing comfort measures, and preparing for questions or decisions that may come up. During labor, I offer encouragement, hands-on comfort with your permission, and help with positioning and relaxation. I can also help your partner feel more comfortable supporting you.
Throughout it all, I’ll support you in asking questions, communicating your wishes, and staying involved in decisions about your care.
Postpartum Support
Practical help while you rest, recover, and get to know your baby.
Those early days can hold a little bit of everything! My support gives you space to settle in, with help that reflects what you need that day. That may mean preparing a light meal, folding baby laundry, washing bottles, or caring for your newborn while you rest.
There’s also time to talk, ask questions about newborn care, and find additional feeding or professional support when you need it.
Nesting & Home Preparation
Let’s get your home ready for the days ahead.
Together, we can organize the nursery, arrange changing and feeding supplies, wash and put away baby clothes, and prepare the spaces you’ll use most. The goal is a home that works for your family and makes everyday tasks a little easier once your baby arrives.
Maternity Concierge
Help with the details, so there’s less on your list.
If you’re looking for maternity photography, newborn photos, furniture assembly, or other services outside my role, I can help you explore options and coordinate the details. Services provided by other professionals are arranged and priced separately.
The Supported Birth package includes the visits and support listed in the package details. Additional services can be discussed during your consultation, including availability and pricing.
Doula support is nonmedical and works alongside the care you receive from your healthcare team.
